Since 2007, DMRR has set the trend of running in the Maldives.
It is the first and only international run held in the Maldives, officially registered in AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) and listed in the AIMS World Running calendar.
As the largest annual run held in the country, DMRR brings together people and communities from all over the nation and abroad.The 16th edition of Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) will take place on Friday, 24 October 2025 at Hulhumale', Maldives.
Runners can choose to participate in either the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K - Single or 5K - Team Event OR dual races (Half Marathon & 5K / 10K & 5K).
