For the eighth year in a row, The TriFactory is proud to present the Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon, our flagship running race which invites runners from across the world to #RaceThroughHistory at one of the most iconic locations on Earth: the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Taking place on Friday, December 11th & Saturday, December 12th, 2026, Egypt’s biggest running race will once again welcome thousands of runners from across the globe to experience a truly unique race through 5,000 years of history.
The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon features three distances - 5K, 10K, and 21K - welcoming runners of all ages and abilities. Both the 10K and 21K courses are certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races).

Each of the three distances - 5K, 10K, and 21K - features amazing view of the Pyramids, with an iconic Start & Finish Line experience in the heart of the Giza Pyramids Plateau. The race courses feature several rolling hills and inclines, particularly for 21K runners, creating a rewarding and memorable challenge while running through the breathtaking surroundings of the Giza Pyramids Plateau.
