The 26th edition of the Reggae Marathon will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2026.
Following decades in Negril, the event returns to Jamaica's capital city, Kingston, for its second consecutive year.
Race Distances & RoutesThe event draws local and international runners with a vibrant atmosphere and live reggae music along the course:
- Half Marathon (21K): Routes through Kingston's financial district, downtown arts district, and along the waterfront.
- 10K & 5K: Shorter courses focusing on the arts district, with backdrop views of the mountains and the sea.
Note: The marathon (42K) distance has been discontinued; the race focuses exclusively on the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and a Virtual Race running from November 15 to December 6.
Event Schedule & Logistics
Start Time: The race begins strictly at 5:45 AM to avoid the peak tropical heat.
Start/Finish Line: The race starts and concludes at the iconic Kingston Waterfront with the Finish Line Bash.
Age Limits: Minimum 14 years old for the Half Marathon; 10 years old for the 10K and 5K.
